Monica Holman Evans

Monica is the Executive Director of the DC Board of Elections (BOE) and previously served at their Senior Policy Advisor. She oversees elections operations and policy implementation within the District of Columbia. Ms. Evans previously served as the Deputy Director of AmeriCorps at the Corporation for National and Community Service. She developed and implemented methodologies for managing national service programs with diverse funding streams, constituencies, and delivery mechanisms. Ms. Evans began her professional career as a Senior Program Associate with the Maryland Governor’s Commission on Service. She provided oversight of Maryland’s AmeriCorps programs and coordinated the service streams in Maryland. Ms. Evans holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
