Akhtar Badshah

Akhtar Badshah was the Senior Director of Microsoft Citizenship and Public Affairs, where he administered the company’s global community investment and employee programs. Badshah taught architecture and urban development at MIT and is a published author, artist, and an acclaimed international speaker. He is the founder and Chief Catalyst of Catalytic Innovators Group, a consulting practice focused on accelerating social impact through catalytic innovation. Badshah is a Distinguished Practitioner and Associate Teaching Faculty at the University of Washington, School of Business (Bothell Campus) and Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. His new book Purpose Mindset: How Microsoft Inspires its Employees and Alumni to Change the World, is published by Harper Collins Leadership and is also a Microsoft Alumni Network imprint.
