Maura J. Fulton

Maura has more than 25 years of global experience leading multicultural teams across the government, private, and non-profit sectors. As Senior Advisor for Strategy at the Peace Corps, she leads the development and execution of long-term strategic initiatives that foster sustainable global development and enhance cross-cultural understanding. Previously, Maura served as SVP of Programs at the nonprofit Pyxera Global, overseeing a program portfolio across 60 countries. She has devoted her career to service and held numerous leadership roles with the Peace Corps including Country Director in Myanmar and Georgia. Additional roles include management consultant with Training Resources Group, Inc., National Program Director of City Year, and Community Development Program Manager with the International Rescue Committee. Maura served as a Peace Corps Volunteer on a remote, traditional outer island in the Federated States of Micronesia. She holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Ohio University, a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and English from Towson University.
